Frita's Fairy Festivities

"What are you called?" many of the fairies asked in unison. "Fr-Frita," she responded, trembling. "Oh, what a lovely name!" "Your hair is positively darling!" "So is that dress!" "Welcome to Blueleaf!" Frita smiled, reveling in the compliments and the welcoming atmosphere, though the smile rather quickly and abruptly dropped off her face as she became aware of it. She couldn't lose herself... himself... "You're just in time for the Festival of Trees and Light," gushed one of the fairies. "Please, come join us! We will dance and sing and make merry until the sun comes up!" "I..." started Frita hesitantly, but before she could refuse she was being caught up in the swarm and rushed in a particular direction. Quickly they came to an enormous tree, alight with fairyglow from within the leaves, and she was taken up into the branches. All around there were fairies dancing, singing, playing music on tiny music, making and distributing food, braiding each other's hair, making clothes and other pieces of art, and chattering away. It looked like such a splendid time... Much of the crowd quickly scattered, but enough remained around Frita that she couldn't very well leave immediately. A few fairies, a female named Celeste and two males named Arion and Taurill, remained especially close.
