Frita automatically began beating her wings, rising up to look about, and quickly realized that both the name and the power of flight flowed completely naturally to her. Shocked, she lowered herself to the ground again. This was wrong! She felt dizzy, and a little sick.

Blueleaf Forest was beautiful, the canopies of the trees so thick that even at midday it was full dark, but still it was always alight with a pleasant faint blue glow due to the fairy magic. Fred felt herself tugged in the direction of her kin, and at the same time wanted to vomit. Where was she? Blueleaf Forest, yes, but where was she in relation to Allaria? Why did she suddenly feel more at home here than in Allaria? How could she get out of this? How could she change herself back? How did her hair look? Where did that last question even come from? She was terrified. Her head felt like it was stuffed with cotton.

  1. Presently Frita--Fred found herself surrounded by a swarm of fairies welcoming her. She responded instinctively to them, feeling fast at home, but that terror still lingered in her mind.
  2. Fred picked a direction and started flying, as straight and fast as possible, with the intention of getting out of this forest no matter what.
  3. Fred stayed put and shouted angrily into the air, hoping for a response from the voice.
  4. Fred spotted a nearby puddle and flew over to examine her reflection.
