The first fairy distributing food they find hands Frita a single berry, but in her hands it is almost the size of a watermelon. She stares at it in distress while Celeste accepts a crude knife from the same fairy and cuts the berry into slices. Frita hesitantly bites into the first piece. Juice squirts in all directions. Frita's eyes open wide. She has never tasted anything so scrumptious in her entire life. She begins eating ravenously, and her share is gone in seconds. Amused, Arion offers her the rest of his and Taurill goes to get her a drink. She's just finishing Arion's share when he comes back with a leaf cup containing a large droplet of some pinkish liquid. Frita sucks it all up in one go and almost instantly finds it difficult to balance. Around her, her new comrades laugh, and she looks around wildly, searching for other things to eat and drink. The entire night passes in a blur. When Frita wakes up the following evening, she feels two dress sizes bigger, and like she's about to burst.
