A alarm started accompanied by a rumble that sounded like far off thunder and everything shuddered, making Stacy stagger. Astra caught her and held her.
"What was that?" said Stacy "I don't know, but lets go and find out." Astra took her hand and led her out of the room through a sliding door. "Wait! My jumpsuit!" said Stacy but Astra ignored her protests. Outside was a gleaming white corridor with people in coveralls similar to Astra's rushing past in both directions. The alarm still sounded and Astra approached a technician working on a control panel down the corridor. "What's going on?" she asked. The technician looked around and did a double take when he saw Stacy in her undergarments. "I take it you who came through the gateway. Is she an Aqualarian?" "No, I'm the Aqualarian," said Astra adding in an exaggerated American accent, "She's a New York City girl." She punctuated her remark by slapping Stacy on her exposed butt cheek. Stacy let out a squeek. "Well she's dressed like an Aqualarian," said the man, looking her up and down with a look of disdain. "Anyway, we're under attack, so you might want to go back to wherever you are from. Three Solidarity destroyers have shown up so far..." Something bleeped on his console and her turned away pressing buttons and frowning. He turned back to them, his face white. "A cruiser just jumped out of hyperspace. It's the Dark Blade!" Stacy looked to Astra puzzled but Astra just raised an eyebrow. "The Dark Blade?" "Lord Revenant's ship. Surely you know that?" "I haven't been here in a long time," said Astra. "Who's Lord Revenant?" "Look you need to get out of here! Get to the gateway before..." There was a loud explosion and the ground lurched. A hurricane swept down the corridor, sweeping all three of them along helplessly. Astra manage to grab some sort of hand hold and caught Stacy as she rushed past. She threw her into a doorway in the side of the corridor and Stacy felt herself fall heavily. When Stacy looked up, Astra had clambered in and shut the door. They were in a small room. On the far side was a large door with "WARNING - VACUUM. DANGER OF DEATH" written in bold letters. Astra went to a panel on the side of the room and pressed a button, opening a compartment filled with orange suits and helmets. "Suit up," said Stacy. She'd been trying to do that for that ten minutes but Astra just hadn't quite managed to let her get a chance. "With pleasure," said Stacy.
