Stacy decides to wait until Tom Johnson, the attorney for CEP of Never Ending Internet Solutions (NEIS), Don Marks, returns to reclaim his briefcase. It was pretty unusual that he left it behind, even accidentally. She is still puzzled by Don's remark about how it was up to Stacy to terminate everyone working for NEIS. After all, wasn't she his boss if Stacy wasn't mistaken. Why was he making jokes like that? And then it struck her: Marks' title was CEP, which stood for certified estate planner. Stacy quickly finds her phone, opens her browser, and quickly googles "certified estate planner": Certified estate planners shoulder immense responsibilities due to the nature of their work. They analyze the financial circumstances, objectives and potential legal challenges of their clients. This includes making tax-efficient estate strategies, setting up trusts, and deciding on beneficiaries. While she was relieved to know Don's exact job description, Stacy can't help but wonder if NEIS is now in the liquidation phase of its existence, and she's going to have to terminate a lot of people who probably desperately need this job. Stacy hated to hurt anyone, even if it was necessary. She'd never be able to live with herself if she ruined the lives of potentially hundreds of people who can't afford to lose their job in this economy, and probably would not be able to rebound by finding a new job quickly. Yeah, Stacy was no Elon Musk to be sure. Just then, Stacy heard someone walking down the corridor towards the office, and wonders if it's Tom Johnson...
