Well, Excuuuuuuse ME, Prin-CESS!

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 1115

Just then, a young Elf woman with a slender figure, long, flowing bright red hair, and a tight blue-and-purple outfit walked up from around a sand-dune. She was carrying a bow and arrows and had a golden headband on her forehead. (Author's note: this is an amalgam of how she actually looks in the FIRST TWO games, the ones on the original Nintendo, and how she looks in the 1989/90 cartoon version) "Hi, you must be the new partner Link's been telling me about!" said Zelda. "Pleased to meet you."
Lord Fred bowed deeply. After all, she WAS a Princess (destined to be Queen someday) and he HAD been raised in the Royal Court, he knew his manners.
Zelda smiled at him and then scowled at Link, elbowing him in the ribs. "How come YOU never act like that around me?" she complained.
"Okay, let's get off on our quest," said Link embarrassedly, consulting a worn-out old map. "The first piece of the Triforce is supposedly to the left here, just a short ways to travel and then we're to an oasis, where the first Labyrinth is. However, I've heard that an old wizard who may have something that can help us greatly on our quest lives to the right, here." He pointed. "Now, as you can see, that means a long, hard, dry trek across the desert, but it may be worth it. We can't decide." He turned to Lord Fred. "Zelda wants to go for the wizard first and be prepared, I want to conserve our strength and go straight for the first Labyrinth without wearing ourselves out with a long journey beforehand. You have the tie-breaking vote. What do YOU think we should do?"

  1. Go left, straight to the Labyrinth, and hope for the best.
  2. Go right, to the wizard's house, and be more prepared, even if it does take longer.
  3. Go a completely different direction at random.
