The Never Ending Quest - Episode 111022

The witch doctor could detect a frankly overwhelming network of spells at work on Hannah, and he could tell that most had been in place for some years at least, but he could not pinpoint the nature of them. He harbored a terrible fear that the woman was not at all what her husband believed her to be, perhaps even what she believed herself to be, but he didn't have the heart to express this, especially since he was uncertain. He only advised that they ask a more experienced and powerful mage to conduct an examination, and told them of Jeppeline, a sorceress who lived in the mountains three leagues out.

  1. He offered to provide supplies and a horse so they would be better equipped for the journey.
  2. He offered to accompany them on their journey.
  3. He offered to set up a teleport, but warned them it was a very hazardous spell.
  4. As he was but a poor witch doctor, all he could offer was an old map and a few pieces of advice.
