An elderly man with a greying beard opened the door. "Ah, you're back," he said. "Did you manage to find anyone suitable?"

"I hope so, and that you will be happy to pay me the sum that we agreed. You can see her lying across my horse. A young woman you asked for, and a young woman she is. I fished her out of the river.
