Slowly the unfortunate girl's pupils dilated until little white was visible. This added an especially dehumanizing effect to her appearance. She blinked a few times, and slowly sank to the floor of her cage, eyes sliding away from Mariela to focus on nothing in particular. The sorceress spent the next few months "cleaning" Toad Throat's aura, and when she felt the creature's enchantments had been sufficiently disguised, she fashioned for her a lily pad-themed dress to wear when being put on display. The show consisted of various trailers housing a collection of Mariela's creatures which she would teleport to distant parts of the land. Well, not strictly teleport; teleportation spells were very tricky and dangerous, especially with such a heavy load. No, instead, she had set up portals leading to a few different areas of the country and surrounding ones which they could just pass through and significantly lessen the journey. Once they were situated, Mariela would don a gaudy dress and adopt her best announcer's voice for telling spectators about her creatures (all lies, of course). Toad Throat wasn't the most popular attraction, but people sure got a kick out of seeing her catch huge insects with her ridiculous tongue. Mariela did eventually remove her hair, as the girl was essentially a humanoid toad at this point and her gorgeous blonde locks disrupted that theme.
