The Never Ending Quest - Episode 108671

After days of flight, during which they stopped to rest only a few times and never let Hannah touch the ground, they finally reached their destination—a beautiful flower garden tended to by a couple with two young children. Hannah wondered with terror whether Big People were affected by the songs.

Either way, inside a week, Hannah was back to laughing like an idiot at absolutely everything the fairies did. And now there were small bowls of cream and jellies that the family would put out for the fairies, which the little people would often feed to Hannah. Before long, she was what could easily be called obese.

As time passed, it became clear that...

  1. the family wouldn't be affected in any way by the fairies' music.
  2. the fairies, though without shrinking them, treated the family almost as much like pets as they did Hannah—by playing pranks on them, messing with their short-term memories, practically hypnotizing them with their songs for hours on end
  3. the children were entranced by and obsessed with the fairies.
