Josh took the key, and tried to open the brass box. It did not fit. Then he knelt down to look at the base of the levers. The base of one lever had an "F" inscribed on a brass plate next to it, and the other had a "P". "Park and forward? Or past and future?", he thought. "This is silly. This has to be something else. So there should be no harm done if I unlock this." He cautiously slid the key into the keyhole next to the plate marked with an "F". It seemed to fit. He did not turn it. He then tried the key in the keyhole next to the "P" plate, and it also fit. "Two levers," thought Josh. "H.G. Wells did mention that there were two levers. This is nuts. This is not a real time machine. But ... I can pretend that it is. The idea is fun. It would be a shame to walk away now. So if this were the time machine, which one should I unlock first? And how much of a push should I give it?"
