"Indeed it is. I wonder what could have knocked it off the shelf?"

"This could be invaluable in my quest to slay the dragon of these Southern Caves."

"Is that where we are?" Fred remembered that Selene had said that she could remember nothing beyond five days ago.

"That's right. I wonder if the wyrm could have captured you? How else would you come to be here?"

"That does seem likely. I suppose I must have escaped its clutches. That must have been before I lost my memory, as I have no recollection of it."

"I wonder who could have created this library? The dragon can't know of it, or he would surely have destroyed this book."

Fred took the book over to the stone table, opened it and started leafing through it.
