"Oh, no!" exclaimed the man. "Come on!" And once again, he had grabbed
her by the hand and was dragging her down streets and through alleys at a
breathless run. Just when Stacy thought she could run no more (whether he
kept on dragging her or not), they stopped in front of a blue wooden
structure about the size of a phone booth. Stacy thought it looked oddly
familiar, then suddenly realized why: it had been in the background on the
book cover. The man pulled out what was presumably a key and applied it to
the door of the box, then yanked it open and said "In here!" Stacy, who could still hear the cries of "Exterminate!" faintly from somewhere behind them obeyed with only a second's hesitation. The door shut behind her, and she looked around dazedly at the impossibly large interior space.
