had a lot of adventures together, and you published your book about them.
Then you went missing a day
or so ago, apparently suffering from a recurrence of your amnesia. I came
looking for you,
and fortunately tracked you down just in time. Why the daleks put in an
appearance
in that bookshop, I don't know."
That explanation begged a lot of questions are far as Stacy was concerned. Was the man really saying he wasn't an actor, and claiming that what she had described in her book had really happened? What was the VLA? Were the daleks the robots on wheels that she'd seen? Where had they come from?
