Just before she inhaled water, Fred found herself lying in the sand and dirt, still in the upper half of her suit of armor, coughing pathetically. She inhaled deeply and desperately several times, coughed quite a bit more, and finally pulled her newly-long hair out of her face. Melody was floating there with her arms crossed and a smirk on her face, looking incredibly amused. "Pleasure doing business with you," the mermaid said. "And just because I'm such a nice person, I'll give you the bottom half of your clothes back." Fred's trousers materialized around her legs. Melody gave a lazy salute, dived underwater, and was gone with a flick of her graceful tail. As Fred breathed in the sweet oxygen, her head was beginning to clear. She hadn't had a lot of time to think about that wish, and she'd been panicking. Now she was a woman. How best to address this situation?
