In Which Diana Needs Some Help

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 103927

Trying to be the mother of seven is not easy. Connar dotes on the children, but the only ones who have really been raising them are the maids, and they are very surprised when Diana suddenly wants to actively participate in raising her own sons and daughters.

Of course, now she also has infant twins to take care of, which eats up a huge amount of her time and leaves her exhausted. So, when the twins are two months old and blessedly asleep, she goes to Mirdox.

"I have to get out of here," she tells him. "Or I'll go mad. I'm trying to be a good mother but it's so hard. I have completely wasted eleven years of my life obsessing over Connar and I can't instantly transition from that to being a dedicated mother. I've tried, and I think it's impossible. Is there anything you can do for me? I don't want to leave forever, I just want time to sort this all out."

Mirdox thinks for a moment, and says...

  1. "I could make one of the maids look like you, and have her take your place while you take a break for a while."
  2. "I could make it look like you were kidnapped by a sorcerer, and when you come back you can say you escaped him somehow."
  3. "I could turn your family into something that would put them out of commission, so you could reign on your own for a while."
