"Very well, your Majesty. I believe they are all outside, in the garden." When Diana steps out to see her husband playing among the flowers with his three daughters and two sons, the two youngest kids come running to her. The others stay where they are, knowing by now that they will receive no real affection from their mother. As she catches the two children in her arms, Connar calls, "You're awake! Are you feeling better?" The older children watch her expectantly, and in their eyes she sees what a shoddy job she's been doing as a mother. They don't see her as a real parent; she's not "Mummy," she's "Papa's wife."
