The Never Ending Quest - Episode 10132

"Hello, Sir Adrian. What were you doing in the lake?" "It's a warm day, and I went for a swim, but then I had an attack of cramp. It was lucky for me that you came along." "Did you have some clothes somewhere?" Andrea asked. It was only then that Sir Adrian realised that he was stark naked. He blushed. "Yes, my belongings are under that tree over there."

They walked over to the tree. The male attire that Andrea had donned for her adventure squelched rather uncomfortably, for she hadn't had time to undress before jumping into the lake to rescue Sir Adrian, but she hoped it would quickly dry out in the warm sunshine. On the way to the tree she picked up her weapon, a short sword, and her pack, both of which she had jettisoned before entering the water.

As Sir Adrian dressed, Andrea said: "I've never heard tell of Tetrilonia, so you must come from a very long way away. What brings you to this neighbourhood?"

  1. "I am on my way to the Southern Caves. I intend to slay the dragon."
  2. "As a matter of fact, I was on my way to come and woo you, Lady Andrea. My father said it was about time I married and settled down, and identified you as a suitable match."
  3. "There's a powerful mage known as Belboz the Fell who lives a day or two's travel from here. I have to see him."
