Within minutes, they were hopelessly entangled together in the sticky
web. Astras sword hand, still grasping the ihlt of Fred's sword, was also
hopelessly entangled. "Just my luck" thought Fred sourly "I always wanted
to get close to Astra, and now we're bundled up together waiting for a
giant spider to come and envenomate us!" "Fred" gasped Astra "Can you get
my ear-ring in your mouth and summon the Wizard?" Fred buried his nose
in her long fragrant hair, fumbled with her ear-lobe with his tongue and
managed to find the ear-ring

 he twisted it, and the
wizard appeared in a flash of white light!

 but even as he tried to twist it, the
giant spider came scuttling out of the forest.
