Beyond the Double Doors
Endless Perspectives - episode 85863
Betty couldn't resist the curiosity that led her to go through the double
doors...remembering in Game 2 that this led to a completely textless episode, four
of whose five choices consisted of the word "up".What would she see?
Logically enough, the double doors opened onto stairs going further
up!And there were doors off the stairs...
"Let's see",she told herself,"there was the chair and table by
the door out to where a `manscopion' was trying to `demolish' a princess, the
place where Little Egypt was dancing, the Lewis Carroll-type chute, the pretentious
"test" place,and the attic..."
But somehow she knew she couldn't always count on things to be
just as they were in Game 2...this place seemed to hang together more, probably
from having fewer authors so far.No really stupid options yet,she told
herself.
Carefully she climbed the stairs and opened a door,to find...
-
a dressing
room,and a tall,absolutely gorgeous redhead in her underwear(typical L.E.
cheesecake,Betty told herself) who laughed and said,"don't tell me YOU'RE
my understudy!"
-
an office where an incredibly old-looking man was slowly laboring with
a quill pen.
-
a hallway that stretched off into the distance.
-
an armory full of strange weapons.
-
a musty,deserted-looking attic.Ripe for exploration...
Go back - Go to the parent episode.
