"I think the Moon would be the best place from which to watch," said the Master. "Anywhere on Earth with a line of sight would be too close to be safe, and materialising in space in a stable configuration is always a little tricky. The Moon should be ideal. When we arrive, you can display a high magnification image of the Earth for us, Doctor. It should be most spectacular. No tricks now. You might not value your own life, but I'm sure you wouldn't want anything nasty to happen to the young ladies." 

So the Doctor set the co-ordinates and... 

  1. They arrived on the Moon. 
  2. They arrived somewhere and/or somewhen else. 
  3. Nothing happened. "The dematerialisation circuit has blown again," the Doctor said. The Master's face turned white. "We're doomed," he said.
