"Neeva," Andor begins slowly, fire in his eyes, "Is hat..... thing.....
Zoanon?"
Betty and Ragan have the inane thought that the TV show, Doctor Who,
was full of blips and mistakes. Apparently, here in "real life," people
are prone to small verbal slips and such just as well. Heck, come to think
of it, similar things sometimes happened to speakers... especially when
the speaker is almost besides themselves in anger.
Quiet as Andor is speaking right now, one just needs to look at his
face to see just how angry he is!
Neeva, usually more in possession of himself, has been a bit rattled
by the things that he'd seen and heard today. And all that he'd heard just
NOW
was the crowning glory! What did it all mean?! He'd always believed...despite
Xoanon being rather....confusing sometimes. But at the bottom of it all
he and the other Shamans before him know that only by the grace
of Xoanon that kept the Phantoms out beyond the Barrier (in spite of the
fact that the Tesh and the Evil One held him). Anyway, if he'd been less
unsettled, he'd have known better.
After all, in the past he'd known when to....bend the truth. Known when
to remain silent. When to speak out and condemn. When to lie to save his
life....
"Yes," he says simply.
This is rather too much for Andor. He'd done everything for the good
of the Tribe. He believed in the Holy Purpose: rescuing the Xoanon and
defeating the Tesh. He'd always believed that Xoanon spoke to Neeva. He'd
always been a god fearing man.....but nothing today made any sense. Or
rather, it made rather too much sense. It had all been a lie.
He'd known that Neeva had always been manipulating him, but this was
too much!
He'd been about to risk the wellfair of the Tribe on....a mad thing!
Something that..... No, it was too much!!
-
"Die!" Andor
shouts, pulling something and making a stabbing motion with....whatever
he'd pulled out of his pouch.
