"I suggest that you stay where you are, gentlemen," the Master says,
"I have it within my ability to bring Logopolis to a complete halt!"
Betty, Ragan, and the others turn slowly and look at the Master. Some
have a look of slight bemusement on their faces. Some have looks of annoyance.
Some have a look of dawning horror, only to be replaced with a look an
inscrutable look as they realize that after having studied the codes the
Doctor has sent…..that the danger that this threat had is much less than
what it had been.
The evil Time Lord notices the expressions and briefly wonders just
why they are not the types he had expected. He shrugs it off and continues
as a less than willing partner (and the daughter of the man who's body
he know resides within) wheels in a contraption that Betty and Ragan recognize
as being of the same type of species that where used to save the Fourth
Doctor back in the TV episode.
They also recognize the one known as Nyssa, and briefly wonder just
what exactly happened back on the Princess' home planet. How close did
event happen there follow the show….and how far do they vary?
They also note that Nyssa has a more zombielike look on her face than
they remember from the show…..though she's wearing the same costume (right
down to the jewelry armband/control unit).
The evil Time Lord is about to make demands to the Monitor to reveal
the secret of Logopolis to him. Just before he begins to make demands he
idly wondering just why he hasn't heard a tremendous crash of the starship
he'd used to be a disruption of Logopolis' ability to detect approaching
ships), when all Hell breaks loose!
It all starts with the twinkling sound effects of what some would
call an odd transmat beam (as Dr. Who would call it) and others would call
the old style transporters (as those familiar with Star Trek).

It happens
just right behind the Master in the hallway...
