And onto the next one!

Namely, the next couple Jarlath's group is taking care of is Dragoness Astra and Dragon Synizn....

Of course, Jarlath's group has to track them down, because both dragons had decided not wait on a few things while Jarlath's group was away on business. Business that they felt couldn't wait.

Namely, two pieces of business of a religious nature.

See, the first thing here is that whilst Dragoness Astra might have been raised, back on her world, in the same religious tradition as Queen Astra of Terra Prime, she wasn't what you'd call religious. That is, until she got gifted with the form of a dragoness and thus had come to feel like some higher force had smiled upon her! Thus this is why she was having one of her love's analog brothers, a priest of Tiamat, to do an equivalent act of baptizing her into the church of Tiamat.

The ceremony itself wasn't too terribly long, but add that to the time it took for Dragoness Astra and Dragon Synizn to get properly married after....

Well, the Champions wait. They'll not protest it, considering it does (the marriage) kind of touch their hearts... The couple (in human form, Dragoness Astra had taken a human seeming just like what she'd been born to) made a lovely couple, really....

So, that finally done they all get ready for the next Validation Quest after one of the Rules inducts Dragoness Astra into the Champion's ranks. Like last time, the Champions are looking for a person who'd been changed into another form, and in this case it's no different in as far as that. However, in this case we are talking of at least two people. One who's pregnant and the other who's form had gotten changed due to that dalliance....

That couple, of course, is in the none too tender ministrations of this world's Synizn...

When the Champions appear (via being transported by the Rule) on this parallel Terra, they'll find themselves a bit away from their target than last time. Then again, the world of Narnia was a rather....small place really. That and we do have the fact that at least two Champions can FLY! Fly much faster than a magic carpet....

The Champions appear in a laboratory, standing before a very familiar looking fellow bent over his instruments in concentration. By odd circumstance (or by a little bit of whimsy by that Rule), Dragoness Astra had materialized in this room behind the Champions (and thus out of ready sight of their unexpected host) sitting down in one of the lab's chairs, next to a row of books...
