| There is no point in keeping her two lieutenants with her, Frozh
decides. The latest so-called dragon-slayer that the dragon has brought to
the caverns to be one of his soldiers is hardly likely to be obliging
enough to come to this very cavern. She herself needs to remain here in
order to co-ordinate things, as this is where any patrol finding the
quarry has been told to bring him, but there is no reason why her
lieutenants should not join the search.
She gives them their orders, and they leave together. Her soldiers have been told always to operate in pairs for, though dragon-women are very tough, she knows that dragon-slayers can be dangerous. A single dragon-woman might have difficulty in capturing the man alive, but a pair should have no trouble. The Champions (and their two new friends) are heading along the tunnel towards the cavern when Djinn Astra comes back from her latest scouting trip with the news that the two lieutenants have left the cavern and are heading along this very tunnel in their direction.
