Understandably, there is a lot of explaining needed to be done,
but Ti'mma is most insistent that they do it on their way BACK to help
the elfin children (and Rayek) that she and the others had gone on a quest
to aid in the first place!
A small amount of explanation won't wait, though. "But having found
my father and brother, I've now got to find my mother. I can't waste time
going off somewhere else on somebody else's errand," Jenny protests. Her
father and brother echo her protest. "Though we haven't tracked your mother
down yet, the place where we are headed in order to help those elfin children
is as likely a place to start looking for her as any," Ti'mma points out.
"It's in the heart of the elven nation, and is also conveniently close
to this base. Also, if all goes according to plan, our business with the
children should not take very long, and after that I'll naturally be only
too glad to put myself fully at your disposal until we find your mother."
Probe helps convince the military doctors that their two elven patients
are well enough to be discharged. Then Jenny, her companions, her father,
her brother, her brother's Terra Prime parents, Timma's party, Eric Jones,
Probe and the Emperor commandeer a large enough shuttle to take them all
the short distance to their destination.
