"Excuse me, my Lord," you say to the foppish noble. "I am on a very noble mission against an evil force. My armor is no match for that evil force. And yours looks really nifty. May I borrow it? I will return it when my noble deed is done."

The noble looks rather pleased when you said "And yours looks really nifty." He smiles and says certainly you can borrow it. After I paid a visit to King Omer."

"Do you need to wear it in front of King Omer?" you ask.

"Anytime you visit a monarch, you have to dress properly."

"You can explain that it is being borrowed to address his noble quest that he has offered."

"You mean the kidnapped queen?"

"Yes, how did you know?"

"Isn't it obvious? It has been news for the last five months. Now I have an important visit regarding the very kidnapped queen. And I need the armor. Can you wait until my visit is over?"

Well, you certainly have the time to wait. Or do you?

  1. Go with the noble and wait outside the castle until the noble's visit to King Omer is over, then borrow his armor.
  2. Attack the noble and steal his armor.
  3. Continue on to the witch's lair without the noble's armor.
