A hollow voice said "Plugh"

The Black Void - Episode 844

Bob remembers playing Colossal Cave quite well, one of the first computer games where you type words to get a desired action. He has completed three different version of this game and knows his way around by heart (except for the maze).

He gets up and walks up to the entrance and shouts "Plugh."

Suddenly he was somewhere else, no longer in the clearing. But he noticed that he was standing at the end of a road. The road leads to the hill in the distance. He can see a small building which is open and sees a small spring a small stream flows out into a gully. Inside the building, he sees a lantern, some food, a bottle of water, a set of keys, and a compass. Bob knew what to do. He collected the items inside the building and...

... shouted "Plugh," expecting to be inside the cave, outside the Hall of Mountain King.
... shouted "XYZZY," expecting to be inside the cave, where there is the word XYZZY written on the wall.
... searched for the grate that leads into the cave.
