Off to an Inn

"Perhaps I could buy some clothes first?" Sarah suggests, feeling nervous about walking into an inn stark naked. "If we're partners now, then half the takings should be mine."

"I suppose so," the young man concedes. "But pretty much all the shops will have closed by now, so I'm afraid that it will have to wait until the morning. You'll still need to be naked when you dance, of course, as otherwise our takings would plummet... Um, I've just realised that I haven't told you my name. I'm Roger."

"Hello, Roger. I'm Sarah."

"That's an unusual name for an elf. Perhaps you were a foundling, and brought up by humans?"

What is it with this 'elf' thing? She decides it will be easiest to take the line of least resistance. "That's right. So is it far to this inn?"

"It's only just off the square. Come on." He starts walking, and Sarah walks alongside.

"This inn, we will have separate rooms, won't we?"

1. "Yes, if that's what you want, though it seems a little extravagent."
2. "Not if you want us to have enough money left over to buy you some clothes in the morning. But I'll make sure that we're given a chamber with two beds."
3. "I was thinking more in terms of our sleeping in the inn's communal dormitory. It will be far cheaper."
