Silent Alarm Activated!

The Black Void - Episode 7943

Everyone calms down. One of the survivors, a tall woman with a broken nose, remembers the main house has an emergency silent alarm, tied directly to local military forces. It's solar powered and has six battery backups.
Obviously it had not been activated, for the military would have been here already. One of the main buttons was under a Shakespearean bust in the library. Yes, their host was a big Batman geek.
Jacques and Strank offer to make a run for the house and press the button.
As they jog for the front doors, open just a bit, Jacques calls out.
"Whatever happen, we make for the button, even if one of us is down."
"Got it." said Strank.

  1. A threat stops them from getting to the library.
  2. A tranq dart appears in Strank's neck.
  3. Gun fire roars. Strank's mid-section vanishes in a red mist.
  4. The house is severely damaged and the library entrance is caved in.
  5. Jacques falls through a trap door.
