Sarah flashed back to a series of crappy books she had read when she was laid up with mono on summer break in middle school.
"Let me guess. They live in mines and love gold and sing songs and all have big beards."
"Heavens, no. Most dwarves are claustraphobic, shave weekly and are allergic to gold. They do like looking up lady's skirts. Even the female dwarves. No humans quite understand this and even paying them lots of money doesn't get a clear answer as to why."
Sarah shuddered. "Any other magical races...?"

  1. "Well, the centaurs, but that's it. They are mean."
  2. "Some nice centaurs but nobody really considers them another race, not since they are usually born of unsuspecting human parents."
  3. "Nope."
  4. "Well, there are legends but we're discouraged from talking about them by the Council Of Scare-Mongering."
