Amergin had learned much when he had stayed in an elf monastery in exchange for helping pick medicinal flowers.
On full moons, elves could change into wolves. At all times, elves could run on snow, shoot arrows better then anyone, balance like nobody's business and cook gourmet meals out of very little.
On the downside, they were allergic to cats, got grumpy over politics and never, ever quite understood good artwork.
Sarah spent a long while pondering this.
