Kindly Join the End of the Line of Those Wishing to Kidnap the Princess

Having seen the film "Shrek", you know what the creature is: an ogre. However you suspect that this one is a lot less good-natured than the one in the film. Even if you had had a weapon you wouldn't have dreamed of trying to fight it. Since the ogre has its back to you, you turn to tiptoe quietly away.

Unfortunately the monster spots you out of the corner of its eye. Putting the Princess down on the floor, it charges at you. You are too paralysed with fear to run. But fortune is with you. The ogre trips over the edge of a rug and falls full length. It hits its head a fearful crack on the floor, which is made of stone.

You realise that it is out cold.

1. You ungag Princess Annabelline. She looks up at you with adoring eyes. "My hero!" she says. She is every bit as lovely as you had hoped.

3. You ungag the Princess. "You idiot!" she says. "Why did you have to interfere?" You are naturally astounded. You've just rescued her, haven't you? Why is she angry with you?
4. It was kind of the ogre to do all the hard work for you, you think. With an effort, you manage to lift the Princess over your shoulder and then you make your way out of the castle, hoping that the guards are still distracted.
