Prefusion Smackdown

"He don't got no wallet?" one of them exclaims.

"Hell, this muthaf*cka ain't got no pockets!" the other replies.

They seem even more bewildered now, but they appear to be finished with you. With a final vicious kick to your ribs, they hurry away. Too bad; you weren't able to summon enough breath to ask for directions before they got out of earshot. Oh well.

You calmly bleed for a while, waiting for your body to repair itself. It was a more enthusiastic attack than you're used to, but already you can feel the artificial endorphins kicking in, and undoubtedly your immune system has linked with your MicroBio implant for some spare stem cells. You'll be right as Rane™ in no time.

In the meantime you ponder the strange speech you just heard. A 'wallet,' you seem to recall, was some sort of pouch or case for carrying the paper money people used in this time. But 'pockets'...you're drawing a blank. Whatever they are, you don't have them. Or a wallet.

Wait a minute...what did they want with your wallet? A wallet could also contain identification...maybe they wanted to find out who you were. But couldn't they have just asked? Maybe that was considered rude...but you can't shake the suspicion that they weren't just being friendly. Perhaps you'll have to be more careful from now on.

Anyway, you feel much better now. Getting up and dusting yourself off, you venture out of the alley back into the main thoroughfare of people. Looking around, you notice many people getting into the large vehicles as they stop. Most of them are yellow, for some reason. You also see a building nearby where many people seem to be gathering to eat. You feel a little hungry yourself.

1. Try to ride in one of the yellow vehicles.
2. Try to obtain some food.
