Neither Sarah nor Kendra - who might have been expected to have a better
idea - could say how it happened. But suddenly the feel of slime against
their skin extended to every inch of their bodies. Since they were up to
their necks in slime, that was the only way that they could tell that
Kipper had somehow stolen all of their clothes.
"You rat!" Kendra said, grabbing for Kipper, who managed to dodge out of range. "Why didn't you steal Amergin's clothes as well?" Sarah wanted to know. "How do you know that I haven't and that he's just too stupid to realise?" "Huh?" Amergin said. "What's going on?" "Kipper's stolen all my clothes and - I'd guess from her reaction - Kendra's as well," Sarah told him. "Well he hasn't stolen mine. I'm obviously a much harder target." "Don't kid yourself. It was simply that stealing yours wouldn't have been so entertaining. Though on second thoughts..." "Hey!" Amergin said, as he suddenly felt the slime against every part of his anatomy.
