The Black Void - Episode 40

You follow the path to your immediate right, wondering what really
happened to you. You were in no mood to go shopping with your parents -
more specifically your foster parents. After all, your real
Mom and Dad were victims of a terrible car accident about three years
ago. They were so nice and really made you happy, in spite of
making sure you cleaned up your room and got your homework done. But this
foster Mom and Dad have their own agenda instead of spending quality time
with you. For example, they wouldn't take you to a zoo or a science
museum
or even let you go to the playground from time to time.
They always wanted to go to the crowded mall to do Christmas Shopping. But they went yesterday, dragging you along, and the day before that and they still can't make up their mind what to buy for all of their friends. They have so many boring Christmas Parties to go to. Christmas Parties are ok as long as you get the presents and tasty goodies, but they want to stay and talk and talk and talk when you would rather be outside building a snowman or sledding. Christmas is no longer fun! Really! In fact, you requested to go with your friend Andy to the zoo instead of going for yet another day shopping, but they insisted that you come along with them. They are really mean! Who said that the holiday seasons are joyful? Anyway, you are now on the other side of the black void and you really should look for your adopted parents, but you really would rather be a ten year old boy living on your own doing whatever you really want to do. You aren't sure. Maybe you should find different foster parents. Nevertheless, you continue down the right passage and you find yourself standing in front of several cages, inside which are several monkeys - all sort of monkeys. You look around and you see a sign that reads: The House of Monkeys. Are you at a zoo that you really requested? If so you must be dreaming! Well, you love monkeys! You certainly can...
