My Mom is Clueless My Mom is Clueless

"Oh, and why were you hiding this....'A World Beyond,'" she reads the title. She waits for my answer. It dawns on me, albeit slowly, that mom looks confused. Mom is confused. She thinks it is sci-fi or something. She is totally ignorant about Ruth Montgomery as she is ignorant about all the secret items hidden in various nooks an crannies of my bedroom.

"You're not going to believe this," I tell mom, "but I was reading both the book and the magazine last night and I used the book as a bookmark. I forgot to take it out that's all."

"Where'd you get this?" Mom asks.... She's wondering why I need to hide a "sci-fi book."

"Look in the back," I inform her. She flips the book open and after finding that it comes from the library at my highschool she gives the book a shake. Is she looking for something secret in the pages/ It's a good thing she does not try to read this book. She hands it back to me. I guess she is bored with the whole business.

I settle down to do homework and get some studying done. Why I bothered to get dressed when I wasn't going out was beyond me.Well today was a good day for a mind blow. Do I feel like a trip to FernCliff Cenetary? You bet I do, but I've got two hypervigilant parents roaming around. Getting past them is not going to be easy.

OK, so what do I do?

1. I go to FernCliff Cemetary as soon as I can escape.
2. I decide it is time to keep an eye on the parents. They need watching.
