And the look of you - one might think you had escaped, and were on the run. That, of course, would not be a good thing." he looks at us rather coldly.

I look down, shifting uncomfortably. I know exactly what this man is capable of. He's a sadist and a professed killer. Baras steps forward, apparently having an idea.

"Gustav has chosen to give Harry here as a gift to an important client. I am escorting her to meet her new master. This afternoon, our carraige was stuck in the mud, and we were forced to walk the rest of the way here in the rain. That's why we look a bit out of sorts at the moment."
