More Arguing

"How dare you judge me?" I shoot back hotly. "You had no problem sleeping with me for two months, all along while you were engaged, and never planned to tell me! Now you act so surprised that I'm a whore? You practically treated me as one!"

"I...you're right, I should never have started a relationship with you, knowing I was promised to someone else - but that doesn't change the fact that I could have helped you and our children, had I known! You had no right to keep that from me!" he says.

"Get out!" I yell, blazing with anger by this point. He departs in a huff, and I turn my attentions to soothing the babies, which has the unintentional effect of calming me down also. I do feel vaguely guilty for decieving him, but I'm still too angry to really confide in him right now. I'll tell him the truth of it later, once we've both calmed down some.

1. A few minutes later, I exit the room. Don acknowledges me quietly, then leads us to meet with the Marquess.
2. A few minutes later, a young woman enters the room. "Oh, sorry I didn't know anyone was in here." She's immediatley taken with the babies, and we chat for a bit. I learn that she is Don's new wife.
