A sudden change of scenery, background, and characters takes place

"Look behind you, Porkington." You murmur into the phone ominously. Poor guy needs to lighten up a bit.

"What did you say, Brooks? Look behind me-" You keep listening, hearing the sound of Porky turning around in his swivel chair. "What- No! Not the knife! Please- I have a wife and kids... Brooks told you to do this *slap* Ugh... those islamists, perhaps? Damn... here I am... *urk* dying... *thud*"

Porkington had been brutally murdered, or so the phone would indicate. Thinking fast, You call the police.

FBI Agents Zack and Patricia have taken over the case from the standard police. The forensics show nothing; the murderer must have been a professional, as they had left no traces. Secretary of Foreign Matters Tobias C. Porkington has been assassinated, and there are fears that that there could be more murders in the government.

Agent Zack turns to Agent Patricia; "Look, are we going to release this information to the public or not?" He asks nervously. This is his first major case, and Patricia highly outranks him.

"Eventually. A national crisis is not what we want." Patricia replies, with little emotion in her voice.

Zack sighs. "The phone recordings say..."

"I know. Brooks said 'Look behind you.' But I said a national crisis is not what we want."

"We have to solve this case. My job is on the line."

1. "Fine, runt. Let's go question Brooks."
2. "I don't give a damn about your job, Johnson."
