The Black Void - Episode 2701

Something very strange is happening. This is no longer a simple matter of you wandering off and getting lost. You don't know exactly where in New Jersey this is, but this is nowhere near your home. You live in Radcliff, Kentucky, a little town just south of Fort Knox, with the nearest large city being Louisville. (And yes, it is that Fort Knox, where all the gold is. Some of the people from Radcliff work there.) You remember from a road atlas that the distance between Louisville and New York City is about 650 miles, as you always wanted to visit New York City some day. It looks like you might have your chance, if you can get out of here.

You try to explain this to the doctor. He suggests that perhaps a telephone call to Radcliff police department is in order. At first you think that this may be extreme, but then you think of all the things that do not add up. Yes, a telephone call to the police may be helpful.

The call is placed.

The police react

  1. They confirm that you live there, have not caused trouble, and a friend verifies that you were in Kentucky earlier in the day.
  2. They have never heard of you.
  3. Within fifteen minutes, men from an unnamed organization enter the room with guns pointed at you.
