Duncan finds an array of pointy boulders and walls of obsidian that had lasted to his time.
He knows where he is! He can get home! In a week. That is.
If the spells even work. Duncan knew what words to say but that wasn't always a garuntee, especially with time magic.
Maybe the best thing to do is leave a message here for his friends in the future to find. He knew Albert always brought his girls up here to make out...where was his favorite spot? In this corner, right here...
Duncan scours, with flame, a message into the rock.
"Albert, help me. Duncan. Am lost in the past, this area. Also, that girl with the black hair and wart on her nose? She was a guy."

  1. Albert shows up and helps Duncan.
  2. The wrong people read the words, years before Albert was born, and start a cult around Duncan's message.
  3. The 'girl' was the black hair and wart shows up.
  4. Nobody ever shows up.
  5. Temporal paradoxes happen and Duncan turns into a girly girl. With his -male- mind intact.
  6. Duncan later finds where his childhood house had stood and buries gold stones near the gully. Albert returns him to the future and Duncan is filthy rich.
