A Lonely Goatherd may seem Romantic in "The Sound of Music" but...

"We could always return you to the facility if you prefer. This is a small village, and until you came we had no single women of marriageable age. The goatherd was becoming tired of waiting for one of the younger girls to grow old enough for him to wed her, and was threatening to leave the village in search of a wife. That would have been a serious loss, and would have set a dangerous precedent for the future."

Above all, I don't want to be sent back to the facility. It will surely take a little time for them to organise the wedding. The first chance I get, I will grab some supplies and slip away. At least my chances of survival should be far better now that I'm no longer in the middle of the desert.

"All right, I'll marry him," I say. "When will the ceremony take place?"

1. "Within the hour."
2. "Tomorrow."
3. "In a week's time."
4. "That has not yet been decided."
