The cavepeople did not observe how the bear got killed. They are still
hiding in their primitive home. And they did not investigate the sound of
the bear's carcass crashing onto the earth.
"Hmm," says Duncan. "There must be something I can do to entice them out of their hole. I know, a peace pipe. Or perhaps a feast." Duncan conjures a low fire that is big enough to barbecue the bear's meat. And another spell causes a large branch of a nearby tree to become a skewer. The tree which lost its branch couldn't be identified by Duncan, even if he had studied herbology. Now that the bear's carcass is slowly roasting over the fire by its skewer that is propped on two huge sticks, Duncan ponders his next move. "Heh, I got plenty of time before dinner is cooked."
