You remember an odd little news story you had seen on Fark.com before the whole nasty trip. "Well, there was some weirdos in the town of Brisbane Australia who had hooked up a whole bunch of illegal nonsense to the local power grid. Blew out half the continent. It turns out they were trying to shut down the entire of civilization so we wouldn't endanger kangaroos anymore. Fark...seventeen kangaroos were run over in accidents when traffic lights and other power sources went out. Stupid tree-huggers. Oh yeah, fifty-eight people reported strange black circles in the sky, but I thought it was just...yanno...power goes out and your eyes go wonky. But considering what I fell into..."
The alien seems encouraged. "Brisbane." it says, typing in info. "Australia. The internet age. Kangaroos."
Some time passes. "Aha! Classified as a time-fluctuation! Come on, I have someone you should meet."

  1. You meet several angry millitary officers, all human.
  2. You meet a nice, middle-aged man with poofy black hair and a multi-colored scarf. You get the idea he is much more then human.
  3. You are thrown into a dark pit. Nobody shows up. Two small tubes dispense food and water.
  4. You meet....your sister. Except she is wearing an eye patch and has dozens of tiny, long-healed scars all over her body.
  5. You meet a calm, bald man with a sharp nose. He is wearing an ugly red and black uniform. "I am Captain Picard." he says. "We have heard of you."
