Unfortunately, the landing went worse than I expected. I realized too
late that I was coming in low,and too fast. The plane hits the dune nose
first. Leaning heavily to one side, the right wing is sheared off as it
continues to skid. It smashes very hard into another dune, burying the

impact.
I scream in pain and start to cry, but there is no one around to hear. I realize I am panicking and try to regain my composure. My left leg is throbbing and bleeding. I gingerly pull down my pants to reveal the injury. There is a large welt and some bleeding, but the real damage is internal. I feel like I'm going to pass out from the pain. I consider attempting to 'set' the break, which is supposed to be important, but I'm very uncomfortable attempting that particular move. (I've only seen it done on TV before)The last thing I want is to make things worse. As it is, there's no way I can walk out of here. I'm going to need help. Any attempt to contact help will most likely be picked up by the men at that facility I escaped from, but at this point I'll take whatever help I can get. I consider my rather limited options:
