The staff exit is blocked

As I am about to push open the door, a man appears and says "Excuse me, sir. I wish to say two things - number one, this is a staff exit - you must leave through the buffet entrance over there."

"Ok, thanks."

The man continues "Number two, you are not allowed to leave without drinking your carrot juice."

"What?"

"You must drink your carrot juice."

"The waiter served us water."

"Yes, he did, and it is spiked with carr... um you must drink your water before you leave."

My mouth drops open. Did the waiter serve us spiked water? I wonder.

1. Head back to the table and summon the waiter and tell him that I wanted water, not carrot juice.
2. Head back to the table and use the two glasses to water the tree that happens to be next to the table.
3. Distract the man who is blocking the staff exit and slip though in persuit of Amanda.
