Dawson and Catters did not have the option of disbelief. The Eradicator
was out there and they had to hide. Catters ordered the pilots to break off and and hide among the asteroids. To their credit, being mostly civillians, they did. Thank god for that thought the commander of this mission. Our abillity to split up just might get us out of this. Everyone knew of the Eradicator. It was part of orientation to the ship. The Behemoth had seen a lot of adventure before this uncontrollable engine malfunction. In one adventure five years ago it had crossed the dimensional divide and had met up with the Eradicator. They had fooled the Behemoth into thinking they would help, but in reality they had tried to replace the crew and take it back to the original dimension. Catters, Williams and the Wachowski brothers had been instrumental in repelling the invasion. Only one good guy died, a grey-haired, foul- mouthed engineer named Samuel Twain. The Eradicator had left a bomb aboard and when defused by Williams, had played a standard 'We'd get you' message straight out of the worst holodrama. And now...hiding. Catters had to make a decision. Have everyone sneak away and risk being attacked or try and co-ordinate an attack on the Eradicator and risk being destroyed? As he though, the evil ship's weapons lanced out, destroying a bannana shaped rock. Fortunately none of his men were behind it.
