Linked Shuttles And The Asteroid Programs

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 9935

Though the shuttles were all linked to the robotic brain of Tetre-hussa- guessa, the spare Artifical Intelligence from the ship, the asteroid field destroys two of the shuttles, leading to the loss of twenty men and women. It is only much later, after landing on the planet, that Catters realizes the new problems this had caused, besides the tragedy of twenty lost lives.

  1. He had lost most of the terraforming team.
  2. He had lost the two most exerpeinced doctors. What a horrifying coincidence.
  3. He had lost Tetre-hussa-guessa...but then who had flown the shuttles to the landing point?
  4. He had lost himself. Tetra had, during his downtime, developed astonishing new advances in memory compression and Catters' brain was now part of the system interlinking all seventy of the shuttles.
