"Absolutely everything seems to have been reduced to ashes," Fred said. "So much for our getting supplies here."

"And clothing," one of the girls, a Princess Genua, said. "I don't know why, but out in the open I somehow feel more naked than I did back in the caves."

"At least you aren't a redhead," Astra said. "I have the risk of getting sunburnt to worry about as well."

The party discussed what to do.

1. They decided to press on to the next village.
2. It would get dark before they could reach the next village, and high up in the hills where they were it got cold at night. They would head back to the caves, where at least it would be reasonably warm.
